Refund Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
GhostVPS is prepaid and billed by the hour, so in practice you only ever pay for the server time you actually use. This page explains how refunds and balance credits work, and the limits that come with paying in cryptocurrency.
1. You pay only for what you use
When you add funds, the amount sits as a prepaid balance. Active servers draw a small hourly charge from that balance. If you destroy a server, billing for it stops immediately and the rest of your balance stays yours for future use. There is no monthly contract to cancel and no early-termination fee.
2. Crypto payments are final
3. When we will refund or credit
- Failed provisioning. If you are charged for a server that fails to deploy due to a fault on our side, we will credit the corresponding amount back to your balance (or refund it) once verified.
- Duplicate or over-payment. If you accidentally send more than intended or pay twice for the same thing, contact us and we will credit the difference to your balance.
- Service we cannot deliver. If we are unable to provide a service you prepaid for and there is no equivalent alternative, we will credit or refund the unused, undelivered portion.
- Unused balance. Refunds of remaining prepaid balance back to crypto may be considered on a good-faith, case-by-case basis. Because crypto refunds incur network fees and price volatility, any such refund is sent in cryptocurrency, net of network fees, and may be valued at the time of refund rather than the time of deposit.
4. When we will not refund
- Hours already consumed. Server time that has already been used is non-refundable — you received the service.
- Policy violations. Servers or accounts terminated for breaching the Acceptable Use Policy or Terms are not eligible for a refund of the offending resources.
- Buyer's remorse on used services. We do not refund for issues outside our control (for example, your own configuration mistakes or data loss where you kept no backup), though we are happy to help you troubleshoot.
- Third-party or upstream outages are handled per the availability terms in the Terms of Service; we have no guaranteed-uptime SLA unless separately agreed in writing.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned in cryptocurrency, normally to an address you provide. We do not issue refunds to bank accounts or cards, because we never receive payment that way. Refunds are sent net of blockchain network fees, and the crypto amount is calculated using the exchange rate at the time the refund is processed.
6. How to request a refund
Open a support ticket in the panel, email support@ghostvps.shop, or message our Telegram bot. Please include your account identifier, the relevant invoice or transaction ID, and a short description of what happened. We aim to review refund requests promptly and will let you know the outcome and, if approved, the payout details.
7. Chargebacks
Because payments are made directly in cryptocurrency, traditional card-style chargebacks do not apply. Any dispute should be raised with us first through support so we can resolve it directly.
8. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Changes apply to requests made after they take effect.
