Simple, pay-as-you-go pricing

Last updated: June 19, 2026

GhostVPS bills by the hour from a prepaid balance you top up with cryptocurrency. You only pay for what you actually run — there are no monthly lock-ins, setup fees, or hidden charges.

How billing works

Pricing is usage-based. The flow is the same for every plan:

  1. Top up your balance. Send Bitcoin, Monero, or USDT (TRC20) to the address shown at checkout. Your balance is credited automatically once the payment confirms on-chain.
  2. Deploy a server. Pick a plan, region and operating system in the Marketplace. The server is provisioned automatically on real cloud infrastructure.
  3. Pay by the hour. Each active server draws a small hourly amount from your balance for as long as it runs. Destroy the server and billing stops immediately.
You are never charged a card. There is no recurring card on file and no automatic bank charge. Your balance only goes down as your servers consume hours.

Accepted payment methods

₿ Bitcoin (BTC) ɱ Monero (XMR) ₮ USDT (TRC20)

All payments are made directly in cryptocurrency. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers or PayPal, and we never ask for them. Monero (XMR) is supported for users who want maximum payment privacy.

Minimum top-up & balance

Each currency has a small minimum top-up amount, shown to you at checkout before you send anything. Minimums exist to cover network confirmation costs and keep tiny dust payments from being lost. The exact minimum and the live USD conversion are always displayed on the payment screen.

Plan prices

Plan prices are dynamic. Available regions, server sizes (vCPU, RAM, storage, transfer) and their exact hourly and monthly-equivalent rates are listed live in the Marketplace, because availability and upstream pricing can change. Rather than publish a table that goes stale, we show you the current price for every plan at the moment you deploy.

Auto top-up (optional)

To avoid a server pausing because your balance ran out, you can optionally enable auto top-up in Settings. You choose a balance threshold and a recharge amount (between $5 and $1,000). It is off by default and you can disable it at any time.

What happens if my balance runs out?

If your balance reaches zero, servers are paused and locked rather than instantly deleted, giving you a short window to top up and resume. If the balance stays empty beyond the grace window, servers may be powered off and ultimately removed to stop further resource use. We send notifications before this happens — see the Terms of Service for the exact data-retention behavior.

Taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars and do not include any taxes, duties or levies that may apply in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any taxes arising from your use of the service.

No price-lock guarantee

Because plans run on upstream cloud infrastructure, hourly rates may change over time. Any change applies only going forward; it never retroactively charges hours you have already used. Current prices always govern, and are always visible before you deploy.
